
Finding the time to work on your well-being often falls to the wayside with the non-stop juggle of managing your career or raising a family. To help our members strengthen their well-being, iHealthOX has launched a new service called Community Coaching Sessions.
What are Community Coaching Sessions?
Members have unlimited access to these live group sessions led by the Care Team every Thursday via Zoom. At just 20 minutes in length to meet the busy schedules of our members, these virtual sessions are designed to teach members a new technique that will help them improve their well-being.
Topics include:
- The pillars of well-being: emotional, physical, financial, social, professional
- Self-care is collective care
- What to do in the absence of motivation
What is the format of the sessions?
During the 20 minute virtual session, the Care Team will teach a quick skill (for example, how to take action towards well-being). They will then do some psychoeducation to help you better understand the topic, why they are important to you, and how you can begin incorporating that skill into your daily life.
At the end of the session, you may be given takeaway “homework” to help you put into action small steps that will make a difference in your overall well-being.
Who can benefit from Community Coaching?
Every single person can benefit from Community Coaching. Although it can be challenging to make time to work on our well-being, these sessions are a powerful preventative tool for mental wellness. When it comes to your well-being, it’s much easier to identify and deal with issues at the root, before they become significant concerns that require intervention.
