Each person has their own definition for living well depending on their values, relationships and where and how they find meaning in their day-to-day life. But at iHealthOX we know that to empower someone to live well, they need an individualized approach that balances the five dimensions of their overall well-being:
- Physical
- Social
- Emotional
- Financial
- Professional
Our Care Team works with each member to gain insights into how they make sense and feel about their life, the quality of their relationships, their emotional intelligence, resilience, and overall satisfaction with their lives. From there, a care plan is developed that supports and strengthens each person’s five pillars of well-being so they can enjoy good health.
Here’s a closer look at the five pillars:
1. Physical Well-Being
Physical well-being is about having access to good nutrition, engaging in regular activity and movement and being in a safe physical environment that promotes good health and safe activities. Physical health is intricately connected to mental and emotional well-being because if we have good physical health, we will more likely have better mental and emotional well-being.
At iHealthOX we support physical well-being by offering one-on-one nutritional coaching or lifestyle coaching and psychotherapy.
2. Social Well-being
Social well-being is a sense of belonging and connection between individuals, community members, and the broader society. It involves feeling safe and accepted, and having purpose and making meaningful contributions to the community.
Our iHealthOX Team helps members improve their social well-being through group coaching, and connecting them with community programs and partners that match their interests and needs.
3. Emotional Well-being
Emotional well-being refers to the emotional quality someone experiences with oneself and in their relationships. Emotional well-being, in general, is to acknowledge that we are separate from our problems and the belief that we can handle those problems (i.e., ups and downs in life).
Our iHealthOX Team helps members build their emotional well-being with on-demand experts blogs and resources, psychotherapy and one-on-one coaching focused on CBT lessons.
4. Financial Well-being
Financial well-being goes beyond income and is achieved when an individual can comfortably meet their current financial commitments and needs while also having the financial resilience to continue doing so in the future. It is about having control and access to sufficient resources (i.e. financial freedom).
Through iHealthOX, members can access financial coaching and an entrepreneur wellness program.
5. Professional Well-being
Professional well-being is when you feel fulfilled and motivated by the work you do, thrive in your workplace and have a positive mindset about the people you work with. It also includes having healthy professional boundaries and the resilience to weather professional stress, organizational politics and changes.
At iHealthOX we offer career coaching and specialize in workplace mental health programs.
